Naturopathy
Naturopathy is based on the understanding that the body is self- healing. The belief is that if given the right healthy environment the body can recover and repair itself.
Naturopaths have many recommendations and natural therapies to create that healthy environment. They will look at your diet, medical history, family history, pathology test as well as your work and exercise habits.
Our naturopaths seek to work with your Doctors and primary health care practitioners to make sure that you have no negative reactions between necessary medications and herbal treatments.
Nutrition
Illness and poor overall health often stem from nutritional deficiencies because of poor diet or mal absorption. Nutritionists work like a detective to understand the source of the deficiency and discover how to balance out any deficiencies.
Through specific questioning, blood test and analysis our nutritionist will be able to help discover the contributing factors and resolve them through good dietary practice.
Our nutritionist will work with your Doctor or primary health care provider to ensure that any nutritional supplementation is safe and has appropriate inter-reactions with necessary medications.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture has become a integrated part of the primary health care system, this is known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupuncture has a history of development dating back for thousands of years throughout China and varoius areas of East Asia.
Acupuncture is effective, natural and has become an increasingly popular health treatment.
Acupuncture adopts a wholistic approach to treatment, through understanding of normal function and disease processes, the treatment focuses greatly on the prevention of illness.
While healthy, "life energy" will flow through the body's meridians in an abundant supply of qi (pronounced chee) . If the flow through the meridians becomes blocked, or there becomes an inadequate supply of qi, then the body fails to retain order, balance and harmony, and illness or disease can follow on from this. These conditions can occur as the result of overwork, stress, disease pathogens, poor diet, weather and external environmental conditions, such as lifestyle factors. These factors will become clear to your practitioner through signs of body dysfunction. By establishing signs of health and body dysfunction, TCM practitioners giving particular attention to the presenting signs, symptoms, medical history, and the tongue and pulse.
Acupuncture treatment is basically the insertion of very slender, sterile needles into acupuncture points along the body's meridian lines to clear energy blockages, encouraging the normal flow of qi throughout the body. The practitioner may also use other methods to help stimulate the acupuncture points, including techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, laser therapy, massage and electro-stimulation in order help re-establish the flow of energy.

innerShe counselling by Liz Lotscher
innerShe counselling is for women who feel overwhelmed in life and just want to feel good about themselves again.
Your life would be perfect except, for that one thing… the reproductive issue that keeps on hurting, your relationship worries, your body confidence or sexuality issues, or your stress and anxiety levels or that secret from your past. No matter the cause you’re struggling with, you probably find it hard to trust yourself fully or be yourself deeply.
If you have tried counselling before and it was like mental gymnastics, or if you have tried body work but never seemed to get to the bottom of your issue, or if you have managed your issues by keeping yourself busy or maybe, you have never thought you could live life another way, then my heart feels for you. You are not alone in feeling this way.
To heal your issues from the core, to let go of stress and bring joy, clarity and self trust back into your life requires two things. Firstly, by creating the space in your life to heal and secondly, to explore your problems holistically, that is, with your womanly body, mind and heart.
Liz Lotscher has had a passion for working with woman and their reproductive and spiritual wellness for over twenty years. In her counselling practice She draws on modern body/mind science, Tantric and Taoist sexuality and Anthroposophical and Buddhist psychotherapeutic approaches to mental health and self esteem. Liz is also trained in Family Constellations processes, Artistic therapy and has a background in Hospitality Management, Childcare and Information Technology.
